My daily drivers for almost four years now. The ANC is still best-in-class, the spatial audio is incredible for music and movies, and the build quality is outstanding — all aluminium and stainless steel. The sky blue colour has held up beautifully.
Pros:
- Best-in-class active noise cancellation
- Stunning spatial audio with head tracking
- Premium build — aluminium cups, stainless steel frame
- Incredibly comfortable mesh canopy headband
- Transparency mode is natural and useful
- Still going strong after nearly 4 years
Cons:
- Lightning port (no USB-C on this generation)
- The Smart Case is… not great
- Heavy compared to plastic headphones
- Expensive — but you get what you pay for
The best headphones I’ve ever owned. The Lightning port is the only real frustration, but the audio quality and comfort more than make up for it.
